Natalie Perlin joined RedLine Performance Solutions in 2022 as a Senior Systems Engineer, starting to work on NOAA’s Earth Prediction Innovation Center project.
Her education stemmed from engineering mesoscale meteorology and atmospheric sciences; she holds a Ph.D. from Tel-Aviv University. Natalie brings more than 25 years of experience in numerical modeling and development in atmospheric and ocean sciences. Most of her projects included various aspects of modeling and data analysis, model improvement and software development for a user community, design and implementation of coupled modeling systems, and developing post-processing algorithms and visualization methods applied to observational and modeling data in environmental
sciences. She developed operational ocean forecast systems for the University research and showcase.
Natalie has experience with various computing resources, from local workstations and desktop clusters to multi-institutional centers of High Performance Computing systems, to cloud computing and storage solutions. She was part of a team maintaining and supporting the University of Miami’s HPC system and helped with user support, preparation of documentation, and tutorials for the HPC system.
Outside of work, Natalie is an avid horse rider and competitor and enjoys classical equestrian sports.
