RedLine Performance Methodology (RPM)
RedLine Performance Methodology (RPM)
RedLine specializes in high-performance computing (HPC) solutions, with expertise in all phases of the systems engineering life cycle. Our proven RedLine Performance Methodology (RPM) is deployed throughout your entire systems engineering life cycle to help you minimize labor, time, risk, and cost, while maximizing your HPC investment. Our goal is to consistently maximize customer success, regardless of requirements or solution vendors. We developed RPM over the course of more than 25 years of HPC systems and applications work. RedLine constantly evolves the RPM with the lessons learned from each engagement. We employ templates at every phase of the life cycle to ensure consistent top quality and to minimize labor, time, and cost for our customers.
RedLine’s RPM provides efficiencies in the areas of:
- Requirements Definition: We work with you to identify and document existing infrastructure, operational procedures, performance goals, fiscal framework, and business goals over the solution’s lifetime. And we’ll identify, document, validate, and resolve any conflicting requirements.
- Solution Design: We’ll conduct a thorough, vendor-agnostic review of candidate products prior to recommending your final design. We’ll maximize the use of existing infrastructure to minimize costs; determine whether some or all of your workload is suitable for the cloud; and help you make decisions that balance funding with performance, capacity, and operational uptime.
- Implementation and Integration: Proper integration is a critical factor to realizing the full value of a new HPC system, often making the difference between system effectiveness and failure. We implement systems with carefully selected component servers, networks, and storage.
- Testing: Our formal and informal acceptance tests ensure that your system meets the performance and reliability requirements as defined.
- Training: We work closely with your technical staff throughout the installation to help them understand your new solution and how it is optimally configured to meet your requirements. Our training is customized to your solution configuration, technical infrastructure, and staff expertise level.
